By comparing the different prices that are out there, analogue aids are much cheaper that the digital ones. This is because digital hearing aids require a microchip to listen to the sound and then adjust it (it uses far more technology). Also, the digital hearing aids can be changed to a person’s use. So if people compare hearing aids with cost in mind, a digital one may be better if people have the money, else the analogue aid will work incredibly well (the added gadgets may not be there).

The advanced technology which comes inside the digital aids makes it more attractive to people – even though the cost is still higher. Therefore, the analogue models that are out there are being sold in smaller quantities; even some hearing aid stores do not bother to sell them anymore as they cost too much to keep and them sell (profit could be made elsewhere).

Bizarrely, the cost of them are very expensive as it requires very delicate precision; only those people which have moderate hearing loss should use them.

The In The Canal is the other popular type of hearing aid. Comparing hearing aids with this is very good, as it is not completely placed inside the canal, but still meant to fit in. The great thing about it is that it can be used by all types of people which have hearing problems, and there are many different functions that people can use.

I would say that either of these types of hearing aids are good. The best thing people can do is compare hearing aids themselves, as they know what their situation is, what the problem is and how it can be changed.
